Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Location: Utica, NY 13502
Shift: 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM
Duration: 13 Weeks (High possibility of extension)
Local Candidates: $34 – $38 per hour
Travelers: $39 – $44 per hour
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a contract role in a healthcare facility located in Utica, NY. This position involves providing direct patient care and supporting daily activities and medical needs under the supervision of registered nurses or physicians.
Key Responsibilities:Monitor and document vital signs including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration
Administer medications and injections as prescribed, observing for potential side effects
Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating
Provide basic wound care including cleaning and dressing wounds
Accurately update medical records and patient documentation
Report changes in patient condition to supervising RN or physician promptly
Minimum of 1 year recent experience as an LPN
Active New York State LPN License
BLS Certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
